Worthlessness

Rating: 3 out of 10 (Poor)
Pros: Very good display, Good camera clarity
Cons: Very bad headset, Can't play high bit songs from memory card, No resale value, Low volume, Low battery life
Opinion:
I have been using this phone for the last 2 yrs. I am unable to listen FM or MP3 properly from this phone. The headset is having loose contact with the mobile. Unable to open high bit songs and photos. You will get an error message that "Not Supported by this Mobile". No full screen display for video. Unable to minimize the MP3 window. You cant open any other applications when it plays MP3. There is no control from the headset button except attending the call. No resale value for this mobile. When I bought the price was 270 UD. Now the max resale value for this mobile is 40 UD.

Best Value For Money

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Memory card upto 1GB, Excellent Display, 1.3MP cam, Phone calls/FM recording, MP3/MP4 Player
Cons: No full screen Video, Low speakers volume
Opinion:
This is my reply to "MR.CheeYong" who wrote that it "Sucks".... Let me tell you this.... There is NO SE / Nokia Mobile at this low price range (150 US DOLLARS in my country)with these excellent features.... X700 can play MP3 files with 320KB/s bitrate.... May be your firmware is old!.... You can record phone calls and FM radio programs upto 1 hour long per file.... It supports 1GB memory card .... I am using X700 as a MP3/MP4 Player with 512MB card for more than 6 months without any problem.... Make louder MP3 files and play on X700.... Excellent sound quality... Complete DVD quality movie "Spiderman" is saved in my memory card as MP4 video files and X700 plays these files very well with louder sound (without cinema screen black borders) .... If you want to find more features of X700, then contact to me at usmanafzal100@yahoo.com

Sleek Candy Bar Design

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Entertainment and all in one
Cons: Low battery life
Opinion:
To the person below:
I have this phone for five months and i have no problems with it. U are totally nuts to say this phone is very lousy. The new service centre is not bad and get yourself a MP3 player if u need to play wma files or higher than 192kb/s. Please don't give negative comments as i have a shock yesterday and think twice. I suppose i agree with others. I think u don't know how to use this phone.

Sucks

Rating: 3 out of 10 (Poor)
Pros: Sleek design and big screen
Cons: Lousy headset, can't play wma files, cant play songs with bit rate higher or 192KBs from memory card
Opinion:
Samsung basically is all hype. They have the worst customer service I have gone through and that its comparable to calling a brick wall. My phone spoilt after using it only less than 1 month. The receiver apparently KOed. And they refused to change a new phone for me despite it spoilt less than 1 month. Then there wa sonce I called up their customer service to check on the compatibility of a 1GB sd card with the phone. They said they dont know and will call me back. Thats the last I heard from them. Plus, if you plan to play music from your memory card and double it as MP3 player. Think again. It cant play anything directly from the memory card if its 192KBs or more for the bit rate. And it definately cant play wma files. For the price you pay for Samsung, this phone and company is just all hype. Product is not compatible with ... Read more

Good fast phone

Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: no software bugs, very fast menus, excellent camera, good FM player
Cons: menu is very simplistic, no themes, music player cannot be minimized, no call recording,
Opinion:
Good fast rugged phone, looks great with an excellent display. MP3 playback quality is decent but player is very simplistic and cannot be minimized. Bluetooth, FM radio, camera are all excellent. U might have painful fingers if u text a lot as keypad is small. If u are into WAP and want to use OperaMini, u can download and install, it will work initially but u might soon get a message that u dont have a WAP connection..some glitch with regards to a Java port. Check on google. It will work fine with inbuilt browser. Sound clarity is fine. Volume goes only 5 notches, would prefer 10. When u connect to WAP, u wud get a message stating "Want to connect to HTTP ?" ...sounds cheesy. Oh yeah ! My biggest grouse is that it does not have a vibra and ring mode.
