It's like buying the book by its cover

Pros: Stylish looks and control, solid build, lightweight and slim
Cons: not user friendly, hang/crashes at times,very basic software/games/functions
Opinion:
This phone is strictly for em looks,lightweight,portability and tough built. The first time i got this phone, i put all kinds of screen protector and some hard plastic casings to protect it. After a while, i realised that i got pretty rough with da phone coz it was getting old, sort of like seasoning. That's when i started dropping it many times before and also deliberately throwing it against the desk especially when i had a bad day at the office! But the damn thing is tough as an iron plate and seems like pretty invincible! This phone is pretty much basic... therefore, i classify it as pure and simple handphone (straight forward for calling and sms-ing people)- thus,don't expect it to have an excellent mp3 music player or capabilities of taking great camera shot!
In about 1 year later buying this hp, i realised that the price dropped like hell and everyone had the same phone as me... although ... Read more

 

A different view from "Nokia"

Pros: Slim how do you fit all of that design, Elegant, Great sound
Cons: The Video is Terrible also built-in games, Battery cover misaligns
Opinion:
I'm still amazed with this fone even though I just purchased an N70Me. The thin design and the gun metal color looks elegant and the way the keypad is pressed is great, but the video dissapoints me. All in all this is a great fone with great sounds(even better than my N70me),great looks and super competive pricing (at least here in Manila) I give it a 7.

Pros: Sexy slim looks, sound clarity is superb.
Cons: Video playback sucks. overall delicate, no audio streaming to blue tooth headset.

Pros: Slim & light weight
Cons: Battery life, softwate hang
Opinion:
I used to keep Mot V690, which had a much better battery life than v3i. V690 was able to run 3 days or more for my type of usage (light user). And with V690, even if the charge remaining is less than 50%, it would most likely last the whole day.
The v3i is a clear loser in this matter. Once you see it lack one bar on the battery meter, count the hours - and you do not even need to make calls for the battery to drain. For example, if the meter changed to 2 bars just b4 you go to bed, then in the morning you will be greeted with the beep indicating a flat battery! What a pity Motorola. I do not understand why the keypad and internal LCD back lights need to be on (till the timeout of 20 seconds or more) when you close the phone ?
