Wouldn't trade it in for the new i-Phone!!!

Rating: 10 out of 10 (Perfect)
Pros: Sturdy for its look, Qwerty keyboard, WiFi, No Camera (sometimes a Pro), Responsive OS, Easy to find software/upgrades, Amazing battery life!
Cons: No Camera (yes, sometimes a Con), Slow SMS system (patch/fix available), Sound recorder button a bit too responsive, No keypad Auto-lock
Opinion:
Yes, I wouldn't trade this phone for the new (3G) i-Phone! No I have nothing against Apple or the i-Phone!

So the first thing I read about this phone when I researched about this phone and found after buying it that it actually does have the most amazing battery life! They say its 7 hours and its actually supposed to be 7 hours! I can say its more than any other phone I have ever owned.

The SMS service did take a lot of time, like 30-45 seconds but I found the patch to fix it and now its out of the screen in 3 seconds.

It runs on a Symbian OS and you can find a lot of free software/upgrades, like Opera Browser, WiFi Presenters, divx player, supports i-pod videos if I am not wrong, and even has Real and Flash players.

One thing I realy wanted and miss the most is the keypad Auto-lock ... Read more

It is pretty easy use especially sending SMS

Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Wifi support, support Group SMS, Easy to send sms through keypad
Cons: Not the usual USB connector for synchronisation, no camera, not touch screen.
Opinion:
Although E61 is not a touch screen phone, it has the useful mouse like joystick control to make selection. For past one year, it is very useful for me to send sms by grouping.

NOT GOOD AT ALL!

Rating: 1 out of 10 (Abysmal)
Pros: SCREEN, KEYPAD AND WIFI.
Cons: EVERYTHING!!
Opinion:
I bought it over an year ago and I had to do a frimware upgrade because the thing got so dam laggy and it would take over 40 seconds to send an sms. After i did a frimware upgrade, i lost my privlage of using bluetooth, when i connect to my car handsfree it disconnects and would not connect again, this happens with my bluetooth adapter on my PC to. I contacted Nokia and they were NO GOOD. AVOID THIS PHONE!!!

Excellent Phone for Executives who Do Not Want Camera

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: No Camera, Cheap, Good keyboard, WIFI support, Good & Bright Screen
Cons: No HSDPA, Less elegant then E61i, No Radio, No touch screen
Opinion:
If you are looking for a no frills phone that does the following main functions that you encounter often, then this is the phone you should buy now:

1) No camera - many places have camera restrictions
2) You send long SMS very often
3) You need push-mail and do occasional reply on email.
4) You want want a simple calendaring utility that sync with Microsoft Outlook for Email, Contacts, Memo, Tasks and Calendar.
5) You want to listen to MP3 music - you will need to buy a stereo headset as it does not comes with one out of box.
6) You need occasional GPS support (with bluetooth Nokia 3W GPS) on the move or in the car.

My usage patterns tends to heavy on the SMS, calendaring, contacts, and memo (my memory assistant). This phone is perfect for me. Especially, if you often goes to places that do not allows camera, GPS or video ... Read more

Generally it is a good phone from Nokia

Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: Good Battery a bettery that is more power
Cons: 3G only and not a touchscreen
Opinion:
Generally this e61 is a good business phone because the Nokia did want to enter the world of 3G. I do remember the Nokia is pushing this at the earlier stage while before the e90 is out. I did not buy this phone because it does not have HSDPA or else it will be a good phone. In fact tht time i choose Sonyericsson M600i because it is lighter and do have touch screen that enable for people whom always on the go in car easy to make a call by touching the screen.
