Aug 22, 2006Rating: 4 out of 10 (Mediocre)
Pros: QWERTY Keyboard, WIFI, Bluetooth
Cons: Short Battery Life, Terrible joystick control
Opinion:
Basically this is a good phone but the joystick is terrible! The joystick some times too responsive and had been sent back for repair for 3 times! The same issue keeps coming back and the last round, they are not even fix it at all. I wrote a complaint email to benq directly and there is no action until now. I totally lost confident about Benq product already....
Replaced my iPaq 22xx and Nokia 7610
May 21, 2006Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Great screen, no hinges, QWERT keyboard, WiFi, BlueTooth, QuadBand
Cons: Battery life, Right-handed keys
Opinion:
This phone is perfect for me because it cuts down the number of peripherials (and chargers) I have to carry around. QWERT keyboard means the PDA becomes a legitimate working tool. Keys have very intellegent response.
I don't love the battery life or the tiny navigator, but this device is solid all around (US $560)
Upgraded to V1.12,it work prefect.

Apr 5, 2006Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Everything in a small palm size PDA-Phone
Cons: Dull hardware colour
Opinion:
Come on folks who are using this wonderful equipment, is there any perfect equipment in the market? Everything boils down to the user, if you find the battery life short, just buy a spare one, why the fuss?? On average one day for one full charge, I have used O2 xda, HP Ipaq, all behaved about the same, its just that the more you talk on the phone, the more drainage of battery...just like the more you use your energy, the faster you get hungry!!! I believe BenQ will manufacture an extended battery soon. Cheers! It's not the end of the world, but a new beginning for this piece of wonderful equipment.
