The bottom line: If you're looking for an eye-catching phone then the LG Shine won't disappoint. It's stylish, feels well-built and its mirrored front section is great for checking yourself out in. But, as with the Chocolate phone, this phone is focused on fashion--the feature set might disappoint you if you're looking for a high-tech gadget.

Great mobile. Really good value for money.

Pros: Sleek. Looks expensive. Easy to use. Good display.
Cons: Takes a while to boot up from switch on. Mirror screen shows up all marks.
Opinion:
I got my LG Shine about two weeks ago. I am very pleased with it. I have heard a number of bad reports about this phone, but can't seem to verify hardly any of them. The only slightly annoying thing is that the phone does take a while to switch on. All in all its great.

Pros: Metal-like casing makes it a durable and scratch proof phone, camera has autofocus, Can take sim-card and flashcard out easily (w/o battery)
Cons: Scroller has slight delay, limited theme selection (no biggy)
Opinion:
This sturdy slider phone has a stronger durability than most slider phones I've used, the sliding function is solid and can go for a good period before wear and tear makes the sliding loose. The internal memory is limited but has an expansion slot. the feel of the metal keypad makes it easy to messaging and dialing. Only small knick is if the buttons were a bit more exposed after sliding down. Phone comes with LG remotes and earphones for those who like using this gadget as a phone and mp3. The camera actually has a 2 step button, hold half to focus and all the way to take the picture.
Overall, the phone is a great choice for those who may have a tendency to drop phones as well as using it as a mirror. REALLY shiny

Opinion:
Anyone thinking of getting the LG Shine Slider , get the ke970 instead of the ku970 . the ku970's software fonts looks disgusting . the software looks does not look nice . whereas the ke970's software is very nice . neat fonts etc.
