CNET Asia Review
Excellent
The good: Sleeker design (compared with the earlier Bold) that includes an optical trackpad; 3.5mm headphone jack; brilliant display; 3G capable and Wi-Fi with UMA support; Bluetooth; GPS; faster processor and updates to BlackBerry OS 5.0. View score
The bad: BlackBerry browser doesn't compare to the competition; compact size results in a smaller display and keyboard, but they aren't deal-breakers.
The bottom line: The RIM BlackBerry Bold 9700 brings T-Mobile its first 3G BlackBerry and improves on its predecessor with a sleeker design and more power. We only wish it had a better browser to complete the package.

Best BB ever. Awesome battery. BB OS 5
Feb 6, 2010Rating: 10 out of 10 (Perfect)
Pros: Size, Weight, and most importantly the FEEL
Cons: Browser is not great, No maps for India. 2nd camera could be the Cherry on the icing of the cake.
Opinion:
Won't write about legendary BB hardware and OS (now its better with OS 5)
Jog dial then Track ball and now Track pad.
Tho' trackpad was there in Samsung SGH i780 but BB track pad is a class apart.
Absolutely flawless communication - Voice and Data both.
BB should start providing a screen protector with the phone to protect that beautiful screen!
Once a Bold user always a Bold user.... Bold, Bold2.....
Great Device!

Cons: camera can be better, at least 5 MP
Opinion:
i love it, its alot quicker in general than other BB's and surfing the net is super fast. using the touch pad is so much better than the ball on other BB's. cant go wrong with this :D best ever
