The bad: Low-resolution QVGA display; odd microSD slot cover position; fixed focus camera with no LED; no HSUPA; price could be more attractive.
The bottom line: HTC's first smartphone with WM6.5 ticks almost all the boxes for an entry-level smartphone, though it needs to be cheaper to differentiate itself from more highly-specced products.

Worth the price!
Oct 20, 2009Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Portable, quite fast, matt design, soft backing, chrome frame, 3.5 jack, metallic buttons(front), price
Cons: No phone keypad!! -> will check with HTC, no flash camera
Opinion:
Just got it yesterday.
Design: Love the design(not for every1) - Matt surface means not prone to finger prints! soft rubbery back cover means a soft landing when placed on hard surfaces! A chrome frame to break away from the "all matt" design! Satin Metalic front buttons! and I love it SMALL!
Sadly only have blue and brown to choose from....
Interface: Not that bad screen from what was expected from a QVGA. Fast responsive scrolling. interface abit boring thou... But sadly I can only write in qwerty keypad...no other choices (kinda useless /w the stylus) Was hoping for phone keypad and write recognition -> checking with HTC...
A/V: Photos and images looks great! thou its low on resolution, but great colour! Zooming is super easy on the zoom bar(just drag!) Sound quality ain't that great, a bit muffle on speakers, and not loud enuff compared to my nokia. Have not try with 3.5mm headphone...(YES! 3.5mm headphone!)
