The good: Good sound quality; low price tag; Wi-Fi.

The bad: Small, resistive touchscreen; poor camera; no 3G.

The bottom line: The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic is significantly cheaper than most other touchscreen handsets on the market. While it's nowhere near as slick as the iPhone or HTC Hero, we still reckon it offers a good user experience for the price.

Chunky useless phone with small lousy screen

Pros: Music capability
Cons: No 3G, Tiny unresponsive screen, thick dimensions

Very chunky by new phones standards. 13mm??!! Also by standards set by LG, Samsung and iPhone. No 3G is also very backwards in technology. Tried the Symbian user interface also, was very laggy and unresponsive!

TOO GOOD SMARTPHONE, VERY CAPABLE AND AN IPHONE "KILLER".

Hi,
I purchased the 5530 a few days back. Black/Red model. Used it vigorously and let me assure you that it is a "fantastic device", a charm to interact with AND definitely an IPhone KILLER!

It's thrills are in: a) Super-Slim body, b) deadly user interface, c) great shooting capability (both pics & vids), d) top-of-the-line music quality, e) No 3G (its's a boon, it made the phone slimmer & most of us do not need 3G, WiFi ... Read more
