The good: Hybrid alphanumeric/QWERTY keypad works surprisingly well; impressively slim for a smartphone; good battery life.

The bad: Series60 operating system isn't as slick as the iPhone OS or Android.

The bottom line: The Nokia E55 is impressively slim, has great battery life and is easy to use. The hybrid keypad may not be to everyone's taste, but, once mastered, it's surprisingly effective. Overall, it's an impressive handset.

Looking forward to the release of this hp.

Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: 9.9 mm thin, 2.4" QVGA LCD,BP-4L 1500mAh battery,3.5 mm audio connector,3.2 mp cam wif flash, Standby time 504hr-744hr.
Cons: Not sure abt the 'Compact qwerty keyboard with predictive text recognition' ?
Opinion:
Current E51 w/o flash user. Looking forward to it's release, a website state as end of June '09. I would get either this phone or 5630 XpressMusic. I would only want to use a slim candy bar form factor hp.
