The bad: AMOLED display washed in sunlight; inconsistencies in operating system; no stabilization or active focus in video capture mode.
The bottom line: The Samsung i8910 HD is ahead of its competition with HD video capture and may be the most advanced and feature-packed S60 smartphone in the market right now.

Amazing functions!
Nov 3, 2009Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Amazing AMOLED screen, camera and hd camcorder, amazing functions, fast browser
Cons: Applications
Opinion:
In my opinion, this phone encompasses all I ever want in a phone. It has a beautiful big screen that may seem like a handicap to some but in actual fact serves a greater purpose.
The functions are out-of-this-world and I could go on and on about it but we already know the phone's capabilities. The screen's lively and bright. And the images just seem to jump off the phone.
The size might be a turn-off to some but that's precisely why I like it. Watching movies on the phone is a delight with it's big screen.
Yes, it lacks a good application store however I've used the iPhone before and I felt that the apps were really overrated and may seem unnecessary.
Ultimately, I feel that my purchase is justified. And I've never been happier with a phone. What iPhone huh?
Don't buy this phone!
Oct 3, 2009Rating: 2 out of 10 (Terrible)
Pros: Big screen, 16GB internal & HD recording.
Cons: Hopless Samsung widgets!
Opinion:
This is just a regular phone covered with a sugar coating. The Samsung widget will slow down your phone. using the widgets & internet browsing - a painful experience. Turn off the widget & this phone will function normally. But what's the point if you own the Omnia HD & can't use it to its full glory.
Its 3.7" screen, 8MP camera, 16GB HD with HD recording probably makeup for its shortcomings.
Don't buy this phone, that's my sweet advice.
Excellent Phone

Pros: See below review
Cons: See below review.
Opinion:
Pros: 8mp camera with HD video recording, good built in mass memory with 16G and can insert Micro SD card up to 16G = 32G of memory for both built in and card, slim despite a big LCD screen, not that heavy for its size, sharp and bright display, superb audio and visual.
Cons: Operating System = Symbian, Office software is not applicable due to licensing software problem, very prone to finger print smudges, camera lense behind no cover. So it's also prone to scratches and not to mentioned the battery cover as well. Since the phone is pretty much expensive, they should have use leather wrapped for the backside of the phone. Good example is Blackberry Bold. A bit difficult when taking photo/video.
In general, the phone I can say is excellent. Actually, the OS Symbian is not that really bad, just that it will confuse you sometimes, thinking that we are using a Nokia phone. The ... Read more
