The good: Sharp display; Wi-Fi; GPS; QWERTY keypad.

The bad: Lack of 3G.

The bottom line: We didn't know what to expect from the BlackBerry Curve 8900 but were pleasantly surprised by its attractive, slim design. A full QWERTY keypad and sharp screen means emails and instant messaging are a joy to deal with, but the lack of 3G occasionally bugged us and makes the 8900 a little less desirable than it would otherwise have been.

Perfect Phone...

Rating: 10 out of 10 (Perfect)
Pros: all function are perfect fit... especial the movie / photo resolution
Cons: lack of 3G
Opinion:

Smartphone with Gorgeous Screen and QWERTY keyboard

Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Gorgeous Screen, Professional Look, Trackball, Friendly Interface, Multimedia, 3.5mm jack
Cons: Battery Life, Bulky Body, Small Keypads, No 3G, Sluggish Wifi Performance
Opinion:
The overall build quality is generally very good with one exception: the rear battery cover. It is loose fitting and rattles. But the overall design is nice (professional) and finish is good. Call audio quality on the BlackBerry Curve 8900 is exceptionally good. The speakerphone functions very well too.

Contacts management on the Curve 8900 is good, and the ability to search for contacts merely by typing a first and/or last name from the home screen is handy.

However, Wifi is very slow, but mini opera helps, though iphone's browser is still the best. Photos and Videos look great and plays smoothly on the screen. Music sounds great, and I can use my favourite earphones (3.5mm jack)on it. But it would be better if the headphone jack is located on the top instead of right side.

Near perfect

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Ease of use, reliability, great functions
Cons: None as Thailand doesn't have 3G yet
Opinion:
Just got rid of an Ericsson monster and bought this one on a recommendation of a friend. What a difference. So easy to navigate and being able to access anyone and anything, anytime is making my job a lot easier.
