A modern phone with two active sim cards - good for travellers

Pros: Two sim cards, nice camera, features work well
Cons: Edge but not 3G so speed limited, also documentation poor.

Why I bought the phone:

I bought this phone in Singapore at Max Elite Mobile #01-64 in Sim Lim Square. It was the best quality and most expensive dual sim phone I saw there. I looked at cheaper phones ($150-350) but decided on this one because the camera was much nicer and I trust the Samsung brand name.
I bought the SGH-D980 phone to travel with so I don't need two phones in a foreign country. For example, my bill reached USD$1000 when I used my Nokia Data Services on roaming in NYC! Now I do occasional emails and texts on my Australian sim (Telstra) but I purchase a local prepaid sim in the USA. With a common card from Walgreen's Store in Illinois, and with USD$50 credit, the cost is $1 per day plus .10 cents per minute with easy telephone or credit card refils. i probably do not get data but I ... Read more
