CNET Asia Review
Good
The good: Wireless options include HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth stereo and A-GPS; 3.5mm audio jack; useful preinstalled apps; 32GB of onboard memory with microSD expansion card slot. 6.7
out of 10View score
The bad: Inconsistent user interface; keyboard with flush keys hard to type on; dated S60 software; limited apps on Ovi Store.
The bottom line: There's no doubt that the N97 is Nokia's top-of-the-line S60 smartphone. But a combination of factors, from dated software to inconsistencies in the interface, make it difficult for us to recommend the device. More so when there are very compelling alternatives from competing camps the likes of Apple and HTC.

Not worth buying

Pros: good design and looks. Feels cool to look
Cons: Faulty software
Opinion:
I bought this phone two months back and I am really fed up with this Nokia product. Its good to be used as a normal phone and fails miserably
I bought this phone two months back and I am really fed up with this Nokia product. Its good to be used as a normal phone and fails miserably when it comes to smart phone features. Check alarms for calendar entries. You will never get a alarm when phone is locked.
The keyboard is too pain to get used to it. It hangs very often. Somehow I regret buying this phone and consider it a waste.

Sep 10, 2009Rating: 4 out of 10 (Mediocre)
Pros: wifi function, appearance
Cons: touchscreen sensitivity, function buttons positioning, sound system and radio recept is all lousy
Opinion:
in general, in comparison to my previous nokia n81, this n97 is much more inferior. being being touchscreen phone, the functioning of the phone is not as good, radio recept, sound speakers, response time to open applications and most importantly the sensitivity of the keys are all not to my satisfaction.
