CNET Asia Review
Excellent
The good: Good image quality; novel imaging features; bundled with 8GB microSDHC card. 8
out of 10View score
The bad: No Wi-Fi; limited screen estate for widgets; sluggish camera interface.
The bottom line: The Pixon is an excellent choice if you are in the market for a touchscreen camera-phone which produces image quality that can rival midrange compact digicams.

Pros: Great user-interface, good camera,
Cons: No Wi-fi, relatively short battery life
Opinion:
I have been a Sony Ericsson phone user for at least 3 yrs. Have always been a fan of Cyber-shot phones as I like to take pictures as and when I see something interesting.
Hence, it was really quite tough choosing between SE C905 and Samsung Pixon.
Finally, Pixon won me over as it is a Touchscreen and it has a very user-friendly user-interface. (i.e. TouchWiz) I particularly like the widgets functions. Accessing my favourite functions is a breeze.
After using the phone for slightly less than a month now, and the phone has not failed to impress me.
The picture resolution which the camera produces is quite good. (though I have never compared to those of C905 or LG Renoir ) There are a lot of camera features like shake reduction, wide dynamic range capability, face detection, smile shot mode etc.
Live Pix is an interesting feature which allows me to ... Read more

Pros: Easy to use, good call quality, good camera and super video
Cons: Lack customization and wifi

I would call Pixon a CAMERA phone rather a phone with a camera. Notice I bold the word camera º, cause in term of phone function, it work as good as any other phone if not better, and there isn¡¦t anything special thing to rave about; but the camera function to my opinion is fantastic; it has all the function of a point and shoot camera can have; that why I bold the word camera. (I stop bringing my Ixus out since I have Pixon with me º)
Let talk about the star of the phone, 8MP camera. Pixon does not just offer a 8MP camera with auto focus but a stack of feature. Just to name a few : 16 x digital zoom, dual power LED flash, advanced shake reduction, wide dynamic range, face detection, smile shot, face link, auto panorama shot. With all the feature offer taking pictures has been easier. I use the smile shot ... Read more
