The bad: Counter-intuitive camera autofocus; media browser could do with a little upgrade; Easy Dial feature not available.
The bottom line: The Nokia E71 is easily one of the best QWERTY smart phones that combine strong features as well as a good balance between business and entertainment, at a competitive price.

Pros: Battery, Multitasking
Cons: Not many apps, camera, interface
Opinion:
In simple words this is one of the better phone Nokia came up with in recent days. With it's wonderful battery life (using HS constantly for push mail, and voice calls around 3 hours still left with half of the battery in the day).
Cons - comes with all the symbian inherent faults like doesnt show the caller ph number rather than name, no apps (we live in app store world), sluggish GPS.
Still worth for a business man who is on the move.
Best business phone I have ever had! (& I have had a few)

Pros: Reliable, *real* multi-tasking, incomparable battery & connectivity!
Cons: OK only PIM, unreliable phone search, limited 3rd party apps.
Opinion:
I am a self-confessed gadget geek. i have had PDAs since Apple's Newton & HP's Jornada clamshell. Every six months, I would buy a new PDA-phone because I would get dissatisfied or bored with the one I had. I have owned Palm 650 & 750's, O2 XDA & XDA II, HTC TyTn II, etc, etc, (to name a few). I was sceptical of moving away from touch-screen but have found that i am finally & truly in love! It has been a year now, and I still love my Nokia E71 - I could have never thought this possible. I extensively use it for net surfing (using WiFi or mobile internet, PIM, voice calls, *lots* of email (various accounts), notes, bluetooth, photos & lots of documents/presentations/spreadsheets. I always have at three three applications open & often running at same time. never any problems with speed, battery, connections, glitches or hangs. Even ... Read more

Pros: Light weight, pack with punches
Cons: Camera quality
Opinion:
Have this phone for a week. Loving every minute of it. All application run smoothly. Responsive OS. Keypad need time to get use to it. Manage to install MSN Live, Nimbuzz, GarminXT, all good.
However the picture quality is a bit behind, on screen the picture look nice, but once transfer to PC the quality is below par even comparing to Motorola 2MP camera.
Still one word, EXCELLENT.
