The good: Solid and attractive build; HSDPA, Wi-Fi and A-GPS; excellent productivity tools.

The bad: Smaller battery compared with the E71; accelerometer can be a nuisance.

The bottom line: While we like the E71 better, the E66 is a great smart phone with class-leading features. If you want the functionality of a business phone without the bulk of a PDA form factor, the E66 is the phone you've been looking for.

E for Excellent

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: wifi,hsdpa,infrared,a2dp,2.4" screen,well built,sexy,accelerometer,very good keypads,smooth slider,good battery life,good loudspeaker,gps
Cons: quite expensive, fingerprint magnet, dedicated cam button doesn't open camera, memory card under back cover
Opinion:
Bravo once again Nokia for producing another winner! I never thought I'd go for an E-series but this one has more to it than meet the eyes. It's a versatile phone you won't regret having. I'm not a touchscreen/qwerty fan so I got it and I'm lovin' it!

Mixed Feeling - Excelent for communication /Bad built quality

Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Best in class connectivity options - WLAN, GPRS, EDGE, (3G), Bluetooth, Infrared, GPS. Other functions including a decent camera and media options also have an excellent framework.
Cons: Screen breaks easily (a design flaw), not a strong vibrator, very bad speaker-phone, 3G does not support US 3G/2100 connections in one device, no USB charging support, still FP1.
Opinion:
I have been a more-than-regular user of Nokia. From the "Brick" to 3310, 5300 to 6021, N70 to E66.

The E66 when bought was a very expensive phone. I bought it before it came into the open market. I bought it off a Nokia Flagship store. The cost came about 520 USD (which has significantly reduced to about 320 USD.)

For the price I expected the phone to actually blow my head off, but it was just an excellent phone. It had a few software issues (including calender, contacts, camera and GPS) which was fixed with software updates (I've had at least 4 updates within the last year.)

The slide mechanism did not seem as smooth as I had expected from the reviews that I read online. But, it wasn't bad (actually it is one of the best I've used.) The keys had the best tactile feedback on any phone that I've used. It felt as ... Read more

Faulty product. Tempting at first, but frustating in using.

Rating: 1 out of 10 (Abysmal)
Pros: Slim, great features.
Cons: Faulty in hardware and firmware.
Opinion:
Great function and features, very easy to use, very cool sliding mechanism.

I've been using it for 4 months. Has a severe problem in not able to access the log or phonebook to make a call. This happens after several normal usage. The phone have been to Nokia Care for 4 times and the same problem keep happening, even getting worse. Nokia's solution every time is just to install a new firmware, but this does not solve the problem. So the conclusion is there is a problem in hardware.

Nokia should not send this product to market if it is not ready.

I alread sent email to Nokia buat with no satisfying response.

A disappointment!!!
