First Take
Two months ago at the GSMA World Congress, Samsung unveiled the SGH-G810. We weren't able to handle it then, but at the recent CTIA we finally got to play touch and feel.

Pros: Camera
Cons: pending
Opinion:
In short: Pretty decent phone... for now
Wasn't overly impressed when I just got my hands on this new toy of mine recently. The phone looks and feel 'plastiky'... like a toy - Yikes! And well, it seems to function just like any other phone... (although it has a really BIG screen - great!)
[disclaimer: user a long time Windows Mobile geeky work phone type that suffers from inertia to change, till recently]
But asthetics and 'superficiality' aside, and after a couple weeks of use, I found the phone to be easy to use... which is great! and the camera... well well, the camera, I really liked!
Have been taking some random shots and find the quality to be good. 5MP really helps i guess..
I have tried Cybershot and Nokia's camera so there...
Where are the camera phone users out? (That can testify or disagree?)
Any benchmarks to what makes a good camera phone?

Aug 12, 2008Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: nice 2.6 lcd display, series 60 os, nice retail earphones, camera with 5mp and 3oz
Cons: battery life is a little bit short for its features...
Opinion:
very nice metal finished, same os to nokia phones means more games and application can be downloaded on it...the camera is good but not better than the nokia n82 when using a xenon flash....i dont know if its better than the sony ericsson k850i, but i can say n82 has a better xenon on it....coz i own also a n82....hehe...as for the music player, the retail earphones is a in ear earphones....the quality of the sound that g810i produce is a very good one...clear with good bass...the one thing its music player lack is the settings for the equalizer coz it doesnt have one..it means you cannot change the way the sound delivers...but it has a good sounds anywayz....all in all for its price of about 20k here in the philippines its a good buy.....
