The bad: Only 64MB RAM; horrible stylus; no front-facing camera.
The bottom line: Though it is basically a solid device, the Atom V needs to be priced more competitively because of the competition from HTC and Samsung.

Veru disappointing device - AVOID
Apr 6, 2009Rating: 2 out of 10 (Terrible)
Pros: GPS, Wifi, 3G
Cons: Bulky, Dodgy screen, lousy headphones, 64MB RAM, no tech support
Opinion:
Bulky device. Only 64MB RAM, flickering screen, need to press hard for screen to respond. Unable to get GPRS to work. No response from mwg tech support. Will never buy anything from MWG again.
Good Performance, Nice Quick Menu interface
Sep 15, 2008Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: Quick Menu interface, stable
Cons: Slightly too long
Opinion:
So far the Atom V that I have been using is very stable, not too much of problems I am facing with it.
The quick menu interface looks good. Definitely better than WM default today screen.
The gripes I have is the longish design makes the device not as pocketable as it should be...
See videos on youtube what these phones are like.

Pros: nothing
Cons: everything.
Opinion:
what more can i say. was burnt by the O2 atom xda life. had xda II and excellent but had atoms, then bought two life phones by O2 for my business and had problems from day 1.
if you want to see FACTUAL examples of videos and the problems ive had see the link below.

apparantly these phones are based on the old life and are probably just the same crap in different clothing. O2 lost my business so why would i have wanted to buy something from MWg. The business O2 Asia was sold to MWg and probably the same old thinking stayed with the transition as well as the product but for all i know i got BURNT by the O2 atom life and never want to buy anything labelled O2, ATOM, XDA or life ever again. In summary, it didnt give me a life as promised.
