CNET Asia Review
7.7
out of 10View score
The bad: Tiny keys; smaller 2.4-inch display compared with the two N95; microUSB port.
The bottom line: The N82 is an excellent all-round phone with an impressive list of specifications despite some niggles that could have been avoided.

Pros: Perfect.
Cons: Nil.
Opinion:
The N82 is the Best Handset that will or will be ever produced in the world. The camera is breathtaking, as well as the wi fi and Symbian os.Both work so efficiently. Both the colours are excellent.

Pros: size to feature ratio
Cons: as mentioned by others
Opinion:
Hi !
Like a few other members, I've been waiting for the black N82 since before Christmas. They finally arrived in Bangkok on Friday, the 9th of May - so I raced home, broke open the piggy bank and picked mine up on Saturday :-)
Same price as the titanium version, 18,900 Baht at Nokia Siam Paragon. First impression right out of the box; it looks a lot like my N73 music edition, both in appearance and function. The menu interface, icons and camera features are laid out exactly the same, with the added goodies that have already been discussed, GPS, wi-fi, etc.
I gave it a thorough work out last night, and it passed with flying colors. It feels solid in the hand. The wi-fi is cool - I tried it out and it connected immediately to the service in my apartment building. Regarding appearance; ... Read more
Performs better than expectation
May 10, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Everything mentioned by everyone else
Cons: Keypad, shortcut key
Opinion:
Got the black one recently and the speed of the device is surprisingly pleasant, considering my old N80 was really snappy and slow. Camera loads a lot faster, only problem I have is the shutter opening too slowly. Stills are captured at a decent speed, processed fast enough. S60 platform is way more responsive. Pretty much decent overall, the keypad may be a little of a hindrance for a while but once you get used to it should be quite fine. N73 users probably won't feel much of difference. The black is way cooler so to speak, silver was lousy. The shortcut key above the clear key gets in the way sometimes when editing text messages. Small fingered people should find the keypad manageable, not much of a big problem. It's full featured, and just for the xenon flash it's more worth the buy than N95 in my opinion. Fits the hand quite nicely as well.
