CNET Asia Review
Very good
The good: Slightly improved design over the Sirocco; solid build quality; 3G connectivity; Bluetooth stereo A2DP; 1GB onboard memory. 7
out of 10View score
The bad: No built-in flash for camera; lack of expansion card slot.
The bottom line: The 8800 Arte isn't an exciting upgrade from the Siroccos, but still is a decent luxury handset that isn't priced over the top.

This design has got to be by far one of the most gorgeous I have ever seen and it feels really heavy on the hands.

Pros: Long battery life, solid feel, simple modern design
Cons: Key pad is still too small
Opinion:
have been using this phone for a couple of months now. love the way the phone feels in my hands. great slider mechanism. lovely ring tones. and the living wallpaper is a joy! i love the desktop stand that comes with the phone. i am really impressed with the soft pulsating glow at the base of the stnad as the phone is being charged. the pulsations soon gives way to a steady sglow once the phone is fully charged, a nice way to alert me from over-charging the battery! the bundled bluetooth headset is also a great nifty device!
my only gripe with the phone is its small keypad. that gets in the way of texting.
True Arte

Pros: Large battery life, 3G, stylish design
Cons: mini-usb charger
Opinion:
Bought this one as a new year present for myself.
As a previous owner of all 8800 series phones (incl. first 8800 Special editions) i must say that this phone is real step forward in right direction.
Active internet browsing (it has pre-installed OperaMini) and lots of talking and it still works.
Got Myself a full black, because sapphire available only in cofee&milk colour that no so elegance.
As it was already said "turn-to-mute" and "knock-to-clock" functions are great, i must add that "video-to-ringtone" is great also.
And last, but not least that phone has greatest melodies ever written to 8800s. It fabolous music and videos by Kruder+Dorfmeister.
A very stylish must buy.
