The bad: Lacks user available RAM; no bundled GPS software; lower screen resolution compared to rest of its product line.
The bottom line: The 8502 does what it's supposed to do and is easy on the eyes though we did wish for more in its software package and customizations.

Packs a punch in its compact form with new customizable interface
Jan 29, 2009Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: QWERTY keyboard has good tactile, touchscreen, TV out for presentations, easy to synch information between PC and smartphone
Cons: Fixed zoom 2mega-pixel camera
Opinion:
A nice looking smartphone with comprehensive functions that fits into the pocket. Design and functions combine to provide a great user experience, especially for a disorganized smartphone noob like me.
Data transfer for internet, GPS, 3G, and HSDPA works well. Clear call quality. Nimble touchscreen with minimal lag when opening most applications.
What I really like is the ease of data transfer from smartphone to PC. Synching datas (eg Notes, pictures, Word docs that I scribble down on-the-go) with my PC becomes a breeze. You essentially just drag n' drop, which really saves alot of time.
**I recently upgraded the handset with WM 6.1 and downloaded the icon based customizable interface i-mate Go. Go's large square icons make i-mate's WM easier to navigate on its touch screen because it works like a desktop shortcut to your favourite applications.
