Very good

The good: Full suite of connectivity features; VGA display; separate mini-USB and audio jack; TV-out for presentations.

The bad: Large and heavy; lacks user-available RAM; security software needs improvement; no bundled GPS software or maps; can be unresponsive at times.

The bottom line: Though it comes with a ton of features including a sharp VGA display, the implementation of its software needs refinement for it to live up to its "Ultimate" title.

Imate 9502

Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: All in One phone
Cons: batt life could be better.
Opinion:
I have upgraded my set to wm6.1 beta and usable ram is now around 40mb. Very fast and no problems so far. It can be considered one of the best phones around with all then features that you can think of.

Wifi is stable and fast

GPS with mapking maybe abit slow in finding the starting point. but other that that works flawlessly

Keyboard is reasonable, for a person that have big fingers like me.

Camera is also clear and autofocus saves the day. I use it to take same serial numbers of computers or server at places i cannot reach.

Screen resolution is also just nice for me to remote back to my office desktop and work from there.

Worth my every cent i spent on it.

Priority one (for advance user)

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: vga, tv out, elegan, fast, GPS, camera
Cons: No Radio... 400 MHz? Why not 512 ?
Opinion:
I just have it bought 3 days ago..

Awesome....
even it using 400mhz but it fast.
Tryin' to use gps in Medan, works good.
My dealer provide me Mapking and the latest Garmin for GPS.

The loudspeaker also cool...

Camera better.

Internet, GPRS, 3G, and HSDPA works fine as i expected.

I like a solid device like this 9502.,,, Simply the best i ever had (before i'm using Ipaq 6365, T-monile MDA Pro)

Usage update

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Everything
Cons: No FM Radio, Up on the D-pad is difficult to press.
Opinion:
I have been using this for for the past week.
The GPS connection is really fast, I was on the Eten M700 before this and that was using Sirfstar chip, but this phone gets a fix much faster, I am using Agis Navigator and it takes only about 10 seconds provided you are not in a moving vehicle. Unbelievable !

The call quality is nothing short of excellent !
The sound during calls is clear and crisp on both ends.
And the speaker on this thing is really LOUD !

Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections are without problems as far as I have been using, and Data transfer speeds for all connections (GPRS, Wi-Fi, USB) are noticeably faster than any other PDA Phone I have ever used.
I transfered a 24MB FLV file via usb to the storage card in 45 seconds.

The interface is suprisingly fast too, e.g. try entering the windows folder with file explorer, you get ... Read more
