The bad: Touch wheel is poor; average camera; bulky and heavy.
The bottom line: We love the Nokia N81's mammoth 8GB of storage space and excellent music and gaming features. However, we wish it wasn't so bulky and that it had a better touch wheel. As a result it's not really the revolutionary multimedia handset that we were hoping for.

Pros: Mulitmedia functions,wifi
Cons: Finger print magnet, bulky, not a very good touch wheel, camera is not super
Opinion:
Nokia still has not allow direct usage of sim contacts and the need to copy it to the phone is a pain when you are doing migration. The phone is overall pretty ok but its bulky and a finger print magnet. The N-gage function is pretty cool.
Good phone, but the camera is a let-down
May 17, 2008Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: great music player, great 3d gaming, good looking design, touch wheel
Cons: mediocre camera
Opinion:
I had just switched from the samsung u600, so apart from the thickness, they are the same size - so it's bulkiness didn't really affect me.
The touch wheel allowed for easy scrolling through lots of pictures and music. The gaming feature was amazing - great 3d, and operated a bit like a PSP. Excellent sound quality and a great multimedia expirence.
Despite that, I reckon Nokia really let us and itself down with the camera. It had an average resolution, and lacked auto-focus. A few of my photos came out blurry. The secondry camera was absolute rubbish. I could barely even make out my own face.
Overall, it's a good phone, just too expensive for what it is.
