The bad: Poor camera; plasticky finish; bulky; heavy; no GPS.
The bottom line: If you don't mind having a heavy pocket, the G900 will provide the most pixels you can find on a Windows Mobile 6 device. The business crowd may also appreciate its focus on security with applications bundled to that end.

Does not live up to its promise
Sep 11, 2007Rating: 4 out of 10 (Mediocre)
Pros: WM6 out of the box, novelty finger-print recognition programs
Cons: full of bugs, unreliable, dismal after-sales
Opinion:
First unit lasted 3 weeks before suddenly ceasing to make outgoing calls, the replacement unit I returned after a week because there was very poor call signal. Screen washes out in sunlight, poor battery life, hangs even after patch installed. Had to get patch from UK site, apparently none for Asian market.
What are you waiting for?

Pros: None
Cons: Nothing to shout about
Opinion:
What are you waiting for? By the time it's released, it may be 1 1/2 yr old technology and MYR1,000 more expensive than Dopod 838Pro. Better off waiting for a newer model.
