The bad: Uneven keypad lighting; poorly located Back button; no built-in 3.5mm audio port; dismal battery life; laggy performance.
The bottom line: The W960i Walkman may be the company's flagship music-phone, but its various shortcomings take away most of the hype on the handset.

It's the best...even after a year!
Apr 8, 2009Rating: 10 out of 10 (Perfect)
Pros: Extremely stable, durable, reliable and user-friendly
Cons: poor camera
Opinion:
It's just awesome...have spent more than a year with this device and I must say it's just superb. The editorial review points at the device being slow, but I disagree...don't compare it to Java/Feature phones. It's a smartphone, for godsake, and being a smartphone, its a lot faster than a lot of Nokia and HTC devices. It has not crashed even once, inspite of the huge load of software and games I have installed, and it still performs like a new device. The only letdown is the poor camera...
the nokia killer it made nokia nothing

Pros: no words to describe about the features it has
Cons: nooooooooooooooooooooothinnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggggg
Opinion:
those who are against this phone are , to be honest, thick headed. what more do they expect than this? fentastic camera, incomparable walkman player, wifi,fm radio, touch screen. uiq symbian format.business software, sexiest look and massive 8gb storage. i think sony ericsson can not manufacture better phone than this. this is for certain.
Feature packed phone
Oct 28, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Large scratch resistant touch screen display, smartphone, wi-fi, walkman, large memory, multiple input (stylus, finger, jog key and buttons), decent camera with autofocus and dual-LED lights
Cons: Slow performance and I do miss having a 'normal' directional buttons sometimes
Opinion:
Like a lot of people have said before me this looks like one of the best phones available if you just look at the specs. It has everything you could ask for in a phone (se pros).
It has a pretty decent camera, even though there are better ones out there this is not a cybershot so I can't really complain. The LED-lights and autofocus makes it very useful nonetheless. The sound quality from the walkman is very good. I use an iPod touch together with it, so I don't really use the walkman player that much, but it is still very nice to have when you can't bring both or just want to listen to the radio. I have not used any screen protectors on it and the display is still as good as new which is very nice to see. I absolutely love the smartphone functions on it. One of the most useful being Quick Office, which lets ... Read more
