The bad: Response lag during scrolling; no expansion card slot; users restricted to only 512MB of onboard memory.
The bottom line: A worthy successor to the popular Chocolate series, the ultra-chic design of the KU970 will appeal to both sexes, but its average Joe feature set and dodgy scroll wheel don't impress. If you can forgo 3G and HSDPA connectivity, the KE970 looks like a better choice with a microSD expansion card slot.

Stunning and solid
May 17, 2007Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: Solidly built, nice weight, intuitive interface
Cons: Prone to fingerprints
Opinion:
Overall it does what it supposed to do as a phone, but what gives it an edge is the stunning outer casing. It is made of metal and feels very inspiring when held. My only gripe is that it resets itself once in a while, which is most annoying when it happens midway through a call. Perhaps it might be a firmware issue, so will have to bring it in for service after only a week of use.
