CNET Asia Review
Very good
The good: VGA display; HSDPA connectivity; GPS navigation with bundled maps. 7.2
out of 10View score
The bad: Sluggish at times; horrible video calls; poor battery life; only 64MB RAM.
The bottom line: For all its great features, the X800 could have been significantly better if it had more RAM and if its software was implemented more elegantly.

Have to keep in mind not to open too many applications due to lack of RAM
Jan 15, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Super fast GPS, VGA screen, design, HSDPA, ETEN software, ROM, slim
Cons: RAM, sometimes not responsive
Opinion:
better than P3600 by the price, GPS and VGA screen. Lack of RAM leads to sluggish response and frozen screen. Keep in mind not to open too many applications. Then it should be alright.
X800 - The winner
Dec 30, 2007Rating: 10 out of 10 (Perfect)
Pros: Functionality
Cons: Short battery life
Opinion:
A great device wth plenty of funcionality! You can even use it as a Wireless Router with the help of some software, sharing your 3G connection(www.jongma.org...). And you can fight the short battery life with extended batteries available in 2 sizes: 1800 mAh(shop.eten.hu...) and 3600mAh (shop.eten.hu...)
The slimmest most packed device to date
Dec 4, 2007Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: packs everything in slim pocketable package: 3G data, GPS, WIFI, VGA screen, radio, large battery, USB charger
Cons: Windows Mobile is a very crappy OS for smartphone, need to change or buy add-on; very few software supports letter magnification - street names and web pages hard to read
Opinion:
Been toying with X800 for almost a month. Packs every feature mankind came up with + VGA screen (640x480). No physical keyboard but that makes it alot slimmer and sturdier.
GOODIES
- 3g internet is 3x faster than iPhone (450Kb/s vs 150Kb/s), in my tests it beat 2 of friend's Blackberries.
- Very functional built-in GPS. Got it working with google maps, but for driving get a more practical nav. program.
- 480x640 screen, coupled with landscape mode and 3G allows to browse web in full glory.
- Beats iPhone with SMS/MMS, a slew of apps available for Windos Mobile, synch with Outlook, drag-drop windows
interface.
- pocketable, a screen protector is included.
- very comfortable on/off hardware button, no need to worry about lock/unlock. Phone still rings in off mode.
- USB charger, can charge from PC as well. Fairly large battery inside, did not time life yet.
- Radio, Bluetooth, 500 MHZ cpu, 224 Mb ... Read more
