CNET Asia Review

The bad: Touch-sensitive keys don't give much tactile feedback; lack of built-in 3.5mm headphone jack or adapter; no Xenon flash on the camera.
The bottom line: Samsung has made yet another ultrathin phone that doesn't skimp on features. Key are the 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus and an easy-to-use music player. Our only niggles with the U600 are the lack of 3G connectivity and the touch-sensitive keys that some people might find annoying.

cool phone
Jan 5, 2008Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: slick design
Cons: very sensitive touchpad
Opinion:
other than the super sensitive touch pad.. i have no other complains with this phone.. 100% of my friends who saw my phone loves the design.. but when they tried to use it.. 100% commented on the touchpad.. but inspite that it has cool features.. oh! and when i access my files in the memory card it will take some time to load the files or maybe its just because of the 2gb memcard.. but it's a cool phone all in all..

Pros: crystal clear sound, thinness, touch-screen buttons, big screen
Cons: fugly dialling display
Opinion:
Ok, first of all this phone is ANOREXIC man.
It's so thin I'm sometimes afraid I'll break it with my own hands. First time I carried it, I didn't dare believe it was a phone. But other than that, it's a superb little thing. The previous Samsung I used gave me nightmares, and it took a lot of effort for me to switch from SE to another Samsung again, and I'm glad I made the switch.
Everything you could ever want in a phone - size, features, look, feel, etc etc, you could find in this thing. If you don't need 3G, but want to be able to hear crisp, sharp music, an FM radio, a bloody good 3.2mp camera, all packaged in a good slider, this one's for you.
Just don't drop or break it. Better not try either.
Truly Spectacular!

Pros: CUTTING-EDGE DESIGN, camera/video quality it produces, intuitive user interface, very nice graphics, and a whole lot more
Cons: not a 3G phone, VERY SENSITIVE TOUCH KEY (hope i'd get used to it soon)
Opinion:
I got this phone in (red variant) last night and everything is great(both the basic functionalities and entertainment)so far, the only problem I've encountered is the "overly sensitive" touch key. It can get pretty annoying (as I keep on accidentally dialing numbers) as of now. Since I don't mind not having 3G, all in all this phone is perfect for me. :)
I highly recommend this phone!
