CNET Asia Review
7.4
out of 10View score
The bad: No HSDPA; no GPS; display slow to turn on; fuzzy video during video calls; small stylus.
The bottom line: The Flame's design won't set the style-conscious user's desire on fire, but its great set of features including a VGA display makes it a useful business and entertainment tool.

Great PDA on the Move
Jul 17, 2008Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Great Performance, Perfectly Customisable features and Great Graphic Display (Best among all I've Seen)
Cons: Low battery life, average camera( for handphones) & pathetic headphones
Opinion:
This is by far the best pda phone I've came across both for business usage and entertainment usage.
Pros:
1. It's large screen is perfect for a more complete view of applications and the graphic display is astoundingly clear and smooth. Doesn't strain the eye as much as other pda phones.
2. It's more commonly used features such as calendar, contacts and default screen is easily customizable to suit anyone's preferences.
3. Playing videos using the O2 XDA Flame is like playing it through a Ipod. Great audio and video qualities makes you wonder is this the Iphone (obviously not) in advance.
4. Interface is quite similar to the more common windows which makes it easier to adept to.
Cons:
1. Miserable battery life sometimes forces you to charge it every now and then or to have a ready charged 2nd battery on hand.
2. Great audio qualities are hindered by poor volume from ... Read more
As usual O2/WMG fail again
Jun 9, 2008Rating: 1 out of 10 (Abysmal)
Pros: 2 GB memory
Cons: Device keeps hanging, Cant tak calls at time. Can't switch on at times. No more o2 for me.
Opinion:
Have been using this crap for many months already. As usper all O2/WMG products, this product hangs a lot and is very slow. Now evey have problems syncing with my Laptop and charging as the USB doesn't seems to work. Occassionally, can't pick up calls even though call button is pressed. Frustrating to use. I have used O2 and HTC products before. I think HTC is much more stable. O2 really sucks.
Excellent On The Move - Technology - Highly Reconmend
May 30, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: WiFi - Onboard Pre-Loaded App's - Great Display - Easy to SEE !
Cons: Battery Life Limited - 2nd Battery Reconmended -
Opinion:
This Baby is worth mentioning, thrown every Application at it, and has'nt crashed - Not yet anyway. 4gig micro SD just the thing - most app's are small in size - reconmend installing then onto the memory card - But O2 Flame is loaded with plenty of onboard memory already.Onboard WiFi a treat at work, and home network. When an external BlueTooth GPS unit is used - will supports all major GPS programs. Clear type makes the display very easy to see in the car, or on the move! The Bonus SRS Audio - via Stereo Bluetooth Headset - has Awesome sound. "Can't get much Better"
