The bad: No 3G; no 3.5mm headset slot.
The bottom line: E-Ten's glofiish X500 is an accomplished Windows Mobile handheld with GPS antenna, Wi-Fi and FM radio among the standout features. It has good battery life and a range of software extras generous enough to make some other Pocket PC vendors blush.

Excellent PDA Phone
Jun 25, 2007Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Everything you need in 1 PDA
Cons: The Car Kit Holder design needs to be looked at...
Opinion:
I have been looking for a PDA Phone that have ALL the features. GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, FM Radio etc. I finally found the X500. You name it, its likely this PDA would have it.
The X500 is working well as I think ETEN has probably fixed most of the bugs from the orginal launch. I have no problem at all with it.
The GPS works very well. In fact, I would usually get a signal in around 30 sec after I turn it on.
In terms of features, there is nothing much I can complain about.
The only thing I want to complain is the Car Kit that is suppose to come along with this PDA. The stylus is out of reach once you placed it on the holder. The holder holds it very tight, so when you want to remove it, it takes some strength to get it out.
I strongly recommend the X500 if you are ... Read more
Many software problems
Mar 14, 2007Rating: 6 out of 10 (Good)
Pros: Good design and build quality. Good GPS (although slow at getting a fix)
Cons: Software problems, No 3 G and poor customer service!
Opinion:
It is a good phone except for the Software problems. Trendsmobile do not reply to emails (I sent 4 to sort out software problems). PDA keeps hanging, unable to access internet or send MMS as set up details on trends mobile do not appear to be correct. Very difficult to view screen in bright sunlight. Battery OK unless you use WIFI which drains it in minutes.
Very compact all-in-one pocket PC with a good size and handle
