The bad: Slider mechanism a little loose; design is slick but lacks the funk factor.
The bottom line: The 6288 improves on the 6280, but while it performs well, it lacks a standout feature to pull in the punters.

love it :D
Feb 26, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Sleek look, shiny finish, great sound quality
Cons: Flash? What flash? Oh, THAT flash. X_x
Opinion:
I've been using this phone for almost a year now. Usually, I change phones every 6-8 months, but I don't think I'll be letting go of this one yet. It's got great battery life, can last me up to five days assuming I don't run out due to playing my music. Camera is pretty good, and I can use it for taking pictures of friends as well as specimens in my lab classes and notes on the blackboard. I've never had a problem with calls, whether the loudspeaker is switched on or not -- it has excellent sound quality.
I kind of wish the front camera was functional even if you weren't in a voice call. Vanity, hehe. XD
Not so bad a phone
Feb 16, 2008Rating: 6 out of 10 (Good)
Pros: For this phone, i like the wide screen only. Not so bad a resolution.
Cons: Shakey slide up.
Opinion:
I have stopped using nokia in 2004 but decided to try another one last year. It was not such a bad thing, i must say that Nokia has improved by leaps and bounds interms of the interface.
The thing abt 6288 is that the slide is slightly shakey, buttons were kinda buried deep so i had difficulty during smses (have to pressd harder).
the memory card given to me by my service provider was really too small for storage space. and the internal memory of the phone is quite little.
The pictures taken cannot be rotated, so most of my pictures appear in the opposite direction as the wallpaper.
Overall, I am satisfied with the useful and freindly functions of Nokia (and will always be grateful to that). Like i said, Nokia has improved by alot =)

Dec 20, 2007Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: 3G, good battery life, clear resolution
Cons: side's a little loose, bulky, memory's a little low
Opinion:
It's a good value for money since it's 3g capable, it has a camera/video, and it's black casing makes it look professional. You can also change the font sizes which is good .
