CNET Asia Review
Very good
The good: Compact design; comfortable to hold; onboard numeric keypad; 2-megapixel camera with autofocus; Wi-Fi and Bluetooth; two to three days of battery life; business card application. 7.5
out of 10View score
The bad: Hard-to-press \"2\" and \"5\" on keypad; sluggish operation at times; soft ringtones; no self-portrait camera option.
The bottom line: The Asus P525 may not be the most feature-rich handheld device in the market, but the inclusion of a numeric keypad will certainly appeal to those who like their cellular PDAs to function more like a phone.

Average PDA with some frustrations
Dec 29, 2007Rating: 5 out of 10 (Average)
Pros: Acceptable fairly good looking PDAphone
Cons: using T9 text function in SMS can be frustrating.../ no 3G
Opinion:
Its understandable using the Window Mobile 5 version has some hickup not just in Asus but other model as well.
But the placement of the centre button at the Qwerty keyboard hinders fast smsing and the spacing of the characters as well.
Searching of Names in contact list is difficult.
A word of warning: if you loose your stylus, you will never find a replacement in Singapore not even the servicing centre at Adelphi!
Superb all round PPC
Apr 17, 2007Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: all you need connectivity and apps easy to use & setup
Cons: larger # 2&5 buttons
Opinion:
I did a lot of research looking for PPC & phone that actually worked well together. This is it! Having owned the dopod 838 and cingular 8525 comparing this with them "the P525 is in a league of it's own it really works well.
What a great phone !!
Jan 11, 2007Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Handphone type keypad, nice form factor, Great PDA phone
Cons: No 3G,
Opinion:
Caught my eye when I was shopping for PDA phone, still cannot convince myself to get one of those QWERTY or non keypad PDA phone but the P525 standout from the rest as I need a handphone type keypad PDA phone, immediately bought this baby home without even going back home to look at review and 2 week had passed, never regret it !! what a great product. for people who like handphone type keypad, this is the one.
