A great phone that will die in your hands.

Rating: 5 out of 10 (Average)
Pros: Sharp, slim, easy to use.
Cons: Battery is a complete let down.
Opinion:
I purchesed the BenQ-Siemens EL71 a week ago in Dubai. I was super excitied as it's a great looking phone that fits well in my hand and great in my pocket. They've packaged everything I could ask for: Bluetooth, mp3, good speaker, and a great screen. But the battery life (or lack there of) leaves me completely disappointed.

I wish I could get my money back!

So far with average usage (loads of SMS and some talking) I get about 24 hours out of the battery. It's to the point now I have to buy more chargers (2 wall units and a car unit) to prevent losing the phone on long weekends. What's the use of having such a svelte phone if you have to carry the charger around with you.

Once I'm fully frustrated with the EL71 I'm going back to Nokia.

Sleek body, Great feel and awesome screen !

Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: The only pros I can think of is that it got only 1 con !
Cons: Short battery standby time
Opinion:
Been using the phone for the past 1 week. Best part of the phone is the sharp and bright QVGA screen (it actually looks better than any Nokias out there !) MP3 playback is one of the best so far ! Clear big sound at an audible volume even in the street ! By far the most intelligent slider phone I have ever seen, thanks to its original Siemens' interface...
