The good: Vibrant 16.7-million \"true color\" main display; internal aerial; stylish slim design for business-use; large internal keypad; great e-mail support; microSD expandable memory.

The bad: No USB cable is included in the box; flip mechanism can be a little touchy; lack of 3G features.

The bottom line: With the 6131, Nokia significantly ups the ante on its previous lackluster flip designs such as the 6103. Tailored specifically for a more business-orientated market, Nokia has adopted the less-is-more strategy for its exterior design. While not specifically designed to be one for the fashion set, it has all the basic multimedia features covered, and it looks great.

tough luck

Rating: 2 out of 10 (Terrible)
Pros: classy clamshell design, nice interface, good feature sets
Cons: short batt life(as what a lot of people say), buggy, poor image quality for a 1.3 megapixel,
Opinion:
got this phone the other day but had to return it the next day because the screen suddenly turns off on its own. i tried restarting it by removing the battery but as soon as i turn the phone on,the same problem occurs. another problem is, the camera doesn't work at all. for the third time that i tried restarting it, it wont turn on. what disappoints me the most is the customer support. nokia's policy doesn't include phone replacement when a faulty product is returned w/in 24 hours. the product is obviously defective when i purchased it, but it seems like "it's even my fault i bought a faulty product". what a very bad after-sales service!

too bad, the phone could've been really good if not for the defects.

a stylish business phone that needs more battery life

Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: small and a very good main screen; compact and expandable memory
Cons: bleow average battery life, too much noise in the pictures taken by the built in camera
Opinion:
I was really enticed by the elegance and simplicity of the phone. The addition of micro sd slot was great that made me decide to immediately buy my own unit when it came out here in the Philippines. After a couple of days of using, there came my disappointment with the unit. First, battery life is too short for you to maximize and enjoy the multimedia features of the phone like the music player and the camera. Next, there were too much noise in the pictures taken by the phone and needs very good lighting condition for you to have pcitures good for printing. I was hoping that the loudspeaker would be of good sound quality. It is just disappointing that the phone did not come with a 3D sound speaker. Finally, if the phone targets the professionals who are on the go, they could have at least increased the internal phone memory. For people who would have to ... Read more

Stylish Phone

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Small, Comfortable, Vibrant Screen, Feature-rich
Cons: Pop port located on top
Opinion:
This phone is absolutely the best phone I have owned hand down! I've had the V3 Razr before and this phone blows that away. This phone's screen is abso absolutely amazing, the colors are crisp and clear. The camera is average, certainly could have been better. One thing I do not like about this phone is the pop port is located on top and it is hard to open sometimes. Anyway, I would recommend people to buy this clamshell, its simply amazing.
