The bad: Bulky side; QWERTY keyboard a tad too small for some people; expensive.
The bottom line: The Sony Ericsson P990i may be the perfect smart phone for tech-minded consumers, but its expensive price tag and bulky design may put some people off.

Why only now?
Jun 11, 2008Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Connects fast
Cons: Tends to be slow but manageable
Opinion:
I just have mine last month as a gift. Before, I just envy friends who have it..after 2 years at last I have mine ( but my friends have other phones now).
I enjoy my phone as I'm a frequent shopper.I am always at the mall. Good thing malls offer free wifi connection so I can check my email and stuff while shopping with ease. it connects so good and much faster than my pocket PC.
The only drawback is it tends to run slow, not good in using the PDF reader, powerpoint, word, exel as it would take some time to load a file.
I removed the flip as I feel it makes it bulkier. I do own 3 phones and friends often advice me to upgrade to SE P1..well I am buying a P1 but will keep my P990i.
Excellent phone for Tech-Minded People
Dec 18, 2007Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Gem of a screen, Excellent Browser, plus much much more
Cons: 60MB Memory too little for pl who are into mp3s, and a key board a tad small
Opinion:
P990i is an excellent PDA Phone and was worth the wait. It has an amazing range of functionalities and can be used not just as a personal organizer, a mobile phone, but also supports developing capabilities. Excellent bargain for software and tech minded people.
