The bad: Onboard speakers offer limited volume range; slightly expensive; navigational joytick not protruding enough; MegaBass works effectively only in headphone mode.
The bottom line: Despite some minor quirks and a heavy price tag, the W800i gets our two thumbs up for its bright, trendy design and strong multimedia features.

Still the greatest 2MP camera phone ever!
Feb 3, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Auto focus 2MP camera with led flash, Excellent mp3 player, handy torch light, dedicated buttons for camera, volume/zoom control, audio player, Expandable memory, Very good battery life
Cons: Small keypads, navigational buttons would have been better than joystick, no other color options
Opinion:
I had been using this phone for more that 2 years now and it's the greatest phone I ever had. Its features could still rival or surpass even some of the latest phone models. Despite its age, I'm still proud of owning it and friends comment that there is so much technology in it. After 2 years of heavy use, it still has its original battery and battery charge last for more than 5 days.
Simply Great
Jul 22, 2007Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: walkman audio quality
Cons: silver keypads are not durable
Opinion:
This phone is actually wonderful. I love the sleek design and its function only that the silver keypads are not durable. They can be scratched easily and the navigation stick is as weak as the keypads.
The best phone I've ever owned
Mar 6, 2007Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: MP3 player, sleek design, good camera
Cons: Difficulties getting files onto memory stick
Opinion:
If you want an affordable phone/MP3 player/camera it has to be the SE w800i. It's just inherently pleasing to use, with a great MP3 player and a camera with autofocus and flash (even the new walkman phone doesn't have autofocus and flash).
Also, it has a great battery life (5-7 days heavy usage), an FM radio (again, the new walkman doesn't have this) and it's light (under 100g).
