Very good

The good: Sharp 65K TFT display; TransFlash memory expansion slot and WCDMA high-speed connectivity.

The bad: Poor build quality; lacklustre speakerphone; no Bluetooth and IrDA.

The bottom line: The V975 contains a plethora of interesting functions designed neatly into a small clamshell. The memory is a crippling aspect of its features, though.

Short battery life

Rating: 3 out of 10 (Poor)
Pros:
Cons:
Opinion:
The battery life is so short that even with the additional battery it takes me only one day to finish and there is no desktop for this so that it can charge both at the same time.

Terrible battery life, poor reception and numerous dropped calls

Rating: 1 out of 10 (Abysmal)
Pros:
Cons:
Opinion:
Thiis one of the WORST cellphone I've purchase.
1. TERRIBLE AFTERSALES service!
2. Send in 3 times for servicing... nothing got fixed.
3. Bad reception esp when you're on the move.
4. Dropped calls, reception bar will often drop to 0.
5. Shitty battery life, less than 1.5hrs of talktime.
6. Warm operation of the phone, I suspect this phone overheats easily.
7. Phone hangs intermittently when swapping call.
8. LCD sometimes "WHITES out"
9. Unable to access all options except for phonebook when in call
10. Quality problems with this phone

Good phone lacks aftersales service

Rating: 3 out of 10 (Poor)
Pros:
Cons:
Opinion:
Basically, this phone is quite basic, no Bluetooth, no IrDA, but the good thing is the pack comes with 2 batteries, software and a data cable. But sadly, the aftersales service is very bad in Singapore. Firstly, the desktop charger is not available (and 4-5 weeks of calling the service center only gets you a "please call back next week" reply). They don't even bother taking your number and when you do give it, they say this is not a standard practice for them... Since when is taking a customer's order not standard practice for a business? And after 4 weeks, the digital audio player also started to give problems and become unusable. The Billard Java game also hangs at times. After 5 weeks, the menu becomes very slow to react, only lighting up 2 secs after the ... Read more
