The good: Looks and feels good; excellent build; spacious keys; simple to use; affordable.

The bad: External antenna; laggy interface; average feature set.

The bottom line: Fans of Nokia midrange clamshells look no further, the 6101 is the model seriously worth getting.

Great value

Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: large keypads, good voice quality
Cons: low memory, application lags, external antenna
Opinion:
The key pads are large enough, and has very good voice quality.
The external antenna adds unwanted length to the phone though. There's a noticeable lag in the application after opening the flap, after that everything is ok.

Good phone for value

Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Easy to use, large keypad,
Cons: Slow interface reaction, rough ringtones
Opinion:
I have been using Nokia phone for almost 3 years and traded in my old one 3 days ago and paid $200+ to get a new Nokia 6101. It is a value-for-money type of phone. I don't like phone cameras because i am using dSLR and I am not so interested in those fancy stuff. This one should be the right choice.

Nokia's best flap mobile of 2005

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros:
Cons:
Opinion:
Nokia 6101 is a great flap mobile with simple features. The only downfall is that there is no Bluetooth in this mobile. So it's back to infrared on this handphone. But overall, the mobile is sleek, sharp & has an excellant display. Above all, GPRS & FM radio have been provided to pep up the fun.
