The good: Large display; strong multimedia and productivity features; generous internal memory with expansion option; excellent onboard FM tuner and sound quality.

The bad: Bulky; design flaws for calling; short battery life; lacks infrared.

The bottom line: The clear, wide screen is a joy to behold and complemented by a plethora of features. However, the 7710 suffers from some design issues and a sub-par battery life.

Absolutely fantastic mobile phone & PDA for the advanced user

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: The Jack-of-all trades outshines almost all phones available on the market including the latest Atom
Cons: Slow to open sms and few other applications
Opinion:
This is one phone that I was sceptical about when I began using but 5 months of its use and I am still discovering its newer and newer uses that are revolutionizing the way I conceived a mobile phone. I wanted a combination of PDA and mobile and I could not have got a better deal at the cost of any standard camera phone. While I have stopped using my Palm as a PDA, I had to reinvent its use by getting some heavy PDA medical applications on it to justify my investment in the palm. The latest introduction of O2 XDA Atom made me compare its features and the Nokia 7710 seems to have clear advantages like clear & powerful sound for mp3 music and no echos during phones. The camera is faster than reviewed for O2 as well.
