The good: Triband; compact and sleek design; large 2.2-inch TFT; good connectivity; improved battery runtime and speed.

The bad: Removable media not hot-swappable; lacks MP3 ringtone support.

The bottom line: This souped-up Xphone offers a plethora of features for both busy professionals and multimedia enthusiasts in a dense package.

Phone good but poor service

Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Good features overall
Cons: Navigation button always broken and poor service
Opinion:
I have used this phone for 1 year. Everything is extremely good except 2 area:
1. The navigation button always broke. Every time I need service, it is for the navigation button.
2. The service is extremely poor. It was not bad when it was in Jurong. Later it was outsourced to another service center provider and moved to Bugis Junction (same provider for Siemens phones), it was extremely poor/terrible.

Joystick issue

Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: Contact search from Keypad
Cons: Joystick breaks quickly
Opinion:
Unlike other phones you need to open the contact folder, you can search contacts from the HomeScreen by using keypad. All the contact names can be dialed using the keypad giving the user the feeling for T9 text input feel.

Worst part about this phone is the Joystick which breaks quickly or comes out if you use it too much.

Another worst thing about this phone is water or sweat sweeps through the KeyPad holes thus looses the warranty. Better to use a cover or laminate the phone.

The ear phone does not stay and comes off very easily if you are riding on a bike unless you press to your ear.

Can't search contacts when sending MMS

Rating: 6 out of 10 (Good)
Pros:
Cons:
Opinion:
I think that O2 has done a real good job with this phone. But there are 2 major flaws with this phone.
Flaw 1: Anyone who has used this phone will realize the powerful contact search software be it searching for a contact while sending an SMS or trying to make a call. However, this wonderful feature is not present when sending MMS. One will have to scroll through hundreds of contacts to look for the one to send the MMS to. Not even keying in the first letter of the name is allowed. Yes, pure scrolling though from A to Z if your friend's name starts with Z. All I can say to this flaw is, WHAT HAPPENED, O2?? You have the perfect solution, why only go halfway and fall short for the MMS??

Flaw 2: This phone cannot send files or contacts through Bluetooth. I have yet to hear of any phone that can only ... Read more
