The bad: Pricey; laggy messaging interface.
The bottom line: Motorola's V3 clamshell comes with a touch of class. Unfortunately, its extravagant price may put it out of reach for many.

Pretty Good phone, has alot of bad points.
Dec 20, 2007Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: Great music player, really nice camera, strong durable phone, doesn't break easily.
Cons: HORRIBLE memory, screen gets fingerprints easily, phone gets dirty easily, no extendable memory, scratches sort of easily.
Opinion:
The phone is a good phone, it's nice, popular, good selling. It's durable, and it looks good. I would've rated this phone 8 or 9 if it had expandable memory. As I said earlier, great phone, the worst memory possible.
razer-v3 sucks
May 11, 2006Rating: 1 out of 10 (Abysmal)
Pros: superb hardware
Cons: software written by morrons
Opinion:
the software on this phone is totally abysmal: (a) press the red while editting an SMS, and the message is lost (they should patent it -- one-click-destruction)
(b) the phonebook categories feature is hopeless (try sorting out a couple of hundred phones with this beauty)
(c) changing time. You move to a different country and the local operator does not send the time -- you have to go to initial settings TURN OFF the autoupdate and then set the local time. When you go home you have to remember to turn the auto update back on. Silly -- Clearly motorola developers do not use their own phones.
(d) screen goes dark, but keyboard still active. How do you turn screen back on without messing the mode you are in? Sony does this one better (first keystroke re-enables screen)
(e) bluetooth connection allows single phonebook items to be sent/received, so that you have to use the junk PhoneTools software motorlla sells ... Read more
Really a sleek and good phone
Apr 8, 2006Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: very handy, cheap, I bought for Rs. 8200 ( US$ 185 )
Cons: No MP3 player? No memory card slot? Small 5 MB built in memory
Opinion:
Very good phone. Small and convenient to put in shirt or pant packet. Metal body is very nice. It takes a little more time to understand and get used to the functions. Motorola should provide MP3 as well as a large memory with card slot facility.
