The good: Compact form factor; accurate Chinese character recognition; extra stylus and battery cover included.

The bad: Poor English recognition; shrill speaker.

The bottom line: Nokia pulls off the pen-based 6108 remarkably well, successfully flattening the learning curve for Chinese-speaking users. It's best to stick to the old ways, though, if you prefer to write in English.
