![]() Comes With Music is a revolutionary digital music service that was developed out of Nokia's discussions with the music industry to give music lovers an exciting mobile music experience. For the cost of a Comes With Music device, people get a year of unlimited access to the millions of tracks on the Nokia Music Store catalog. They can download as many songs as they like to use on their mobile device and dedicated compatible PC. After the year is complete, they get to keep all their favorite music on the registered handset and PC. CWM comes preloaded on selected devices. At this moment, CWM is available on the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and new color variants of the N96, N85, N79, Nokia 5320 and Nokia 5220 XpressMusic in Singapore. Nokia has publicly announced that the service will be rolled out in March to Australia. More countries will be added in the future. 2. How is Nokia's Comes With Music different from Apple iTunes? We believe there is no comparable service offering in the market today. Comes With Music is a revolutionary music service which gives people unlimited access and download of legal music on the Nokia Music Store for the cost of a Comes With Music device. Note that these CWM handsets are slightly pricier than similar models without CWM. They can download as much music as they like and keep all their music after the one-year service period is up. After that, they'll need to purchase another CWM handset to enjoy the service. 3. What's available on the Nokia Music Store? What else can I download besides music? The Nokia Music Store offers access to millions of tracks from global hits to local artists. You can browse, download, stream and sync either to your computer or directly to your mobile device. On the Singapore Music Store, there are an estimated four million tracks spanning various music genres from international and Asian labels. 4. Can I transfer music I've downloaded to other MP3 devices? No. However, tracks and playlists can be shared between registered Comes With Music users (subject to confirmation that the user holds an active Comes With Music license). 5. Can I download the songs into my microSD card in the 5800 XpressMusic and play it on another Nokia phone? No, downloaded tracks with Comes With Music can be played only on the registered device and one registered PC. 6. Will I be able to burn tracks to a CD? No, not with the Comes With Music service due to DRM. If a user wishes to purchase a track with CD burn rights, he could do this on the Nokia Music Store separately. On the Nokia Music for PC client, users will need to click on "Purchase Music" to toggle to the Nokia Music Store purchase. 7. Am I incurring data charges while downloading music using the Comes With Music service on my handset? Yes, downloading music directly to handsets via 3G, for example, will incur the usual operator data charges. With WLAN, there is no charge for downloading music. 8. Can I download music on my 5800 XpressMusic or laptop/PC while I'm overseas? You must be a resident of Singapore to purchase the Nokia Comes With Music solution that has been launched in Singapore. Hence, all music downloads need to be made via the Singapore Nokia Music Store. You are able to access your account anytime, anywhere once registered. Do note that overseas roaming data charges can get very expensive. 9. Can I buy the 5800 XpressMusic and get Comes With Music if I'm a tourist in Singapore? No. Comes With Music in Singapore is available only for residents of Singapore and you must be above 21 years old at the date of registration. If you are under 21 but above 13, you'll need the consent of your parent or legal guardian to complete the registration on your behalf. 10. Can I transfer music downloaded on my PC to the handset via Bluetooth? Yes.
