And we happen to have the Samsung Omnia SGH-i900 and the Apple iPhone 3G with us. So here's the three of them side-by-side.

On NOKIA looking cheap, I would say it is because its a mid-level entry phone targeted at the Xpress Music line which does not have any expensive model in its series. Hence the material used and styling would be more middling. If they do release a touch base on the E or N series, you would bet that it would be more high end

Omnia has a superb camera compared to some of the Nseries phones from Nokia (N81, N76). The touch screen interface is also quite neat and sleek. Though I would prefer a S60 interface as it is very user-friendly.
As for the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, there is nothing much I can say about it. It looks like it will be a good music phone. But I think that this is only Nokia's first attempt at touch screen phones. The N98 shall be a much better phone, I guess

Really, what isn't usable on it. The ability to install and use 3rd party apps & Games? The Google Maps, The great Media Player, the ability for me to syn with my Server account. couple hours ago I watch some tests and possibilities of omnia on youtube, and I was surprised how fast it works.
Vista-like Interface also impressed me, Omnia vs. Nokia, I guess omnia is a winner.

Finaly i`m more willing to buy the 5800 too bad its running on Symbian.
