Touchscreen titans, fight!![]() If you thought you'd heard too much about the iPhone, be prepared to hear even more. Rumor has it the 3G iPhone is coming soon, but this year it won't be alone. Other manufacturers have poured water on the touchscreen Gremlin and produced all kinds of wacky phones. You won't be able to move this summer without someone whipping out a touchscreen phone and loudly discussing the merits of theirs over someone else's. But which ones are going to be worth your finger's precious time--and make you feel warm on the inside and smug on the outside? We've put together a list of four touchtastic phones set to launch this year that we think might tickle your tech bone--but they're all pretty different, so make sure to investigate each one thoroughly before you make your final decision. i think this fight is only between Diamond and iPhone.
here's why.
SE Xperia.... is frankly... a wanna be clunky phone. 1st generation win mobile....
need i say more ?
Nuvifone... is a navigation centric.... + phone.... it's kind of pushing the limit i think... it doesn't really qualifies to be called "titan" unless CNET is referring to its size.. than in this case, the Diamond and iPhone wont be in this range.
If Diamond's GUI turns out to be fast and intuitive than it might be a winner with more connectivity options and readily available 3rd party softwares.
IT's specs are also better than the iPhone with it's new processor and camera a step above the iPhone.
If you want to look cool, simplicity, great music ..... than it's the iPhone

it's "then" not than
Call it arcane but having a sliding keyboard isn't such a bad thing. I've had my iPhone for a while now and though its typing assist feature is very good, it really doesn't cut it sometimes especially when you're in a hurry.
Slow, yes, but I wouldn't count Sony out just yet.

A 3G iphone would top the list if ever pushed into reality. I like the Diamond's form-factor, I just want to see a better and bigger screen on it.
