MANILA, PHILIPPINES--Finnish mobile phone giant Nokia has unveiled three music phones targeted at the general consumer looking for a phone and music player combo.

Helming the launch Wednesday is the Nokia 5300 XpressMusic. Part of the Nokia XpressMusic branding of music-optimized handsets, the 5300 slider phone comes with dedicated playback controls on its left front panel and up to 2GB expandable memory via a microSD card slot.

The somewhat similar-looking Nokia 5200 drops the music controls for a singular music key for direct music activation. Unlike the 5300, the 5200 is not bundled with a 256MB microSD card.

The Nokia 3250 XpressMusic is the musical update to the popular twistable 3250. New features include up to 2GB microSD card support and the inclusion of a 1GB microSD card in the bundle.

"With today's launches, we are reaching out to a broad range of people who want all the features of their mobile phone and their music player in a single, stylish device," Alex Lambeek, vice president of Sales & Market Operations for Mobile Phones in Asia Pacific, said in a press statement.

Nokia promised that these new phones will focus on affordable pricing for entry-level music phone consumers. The company also announced that all three handsets will come preinstalled with the Yahoo! GO application, which adds Yahoo!'s popular instant messaging functionality directly to the handset.
