User Review for Nokia 5610 XpressMusic
One of Nokia's greatest XpressMusic S40 phones so far
Nov 13, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: 3.2 cam, 16M TFT Display, Good Design, Slider Key, Good Music phone, Good Keypads, S40 5th Edition
Cons: Not that good Loudspeaker, 2.5mm jack, Slider Key limited functions, Hungry on thumbmarks
Opinion:
As a owner of this phone, i want to make a review for those who are planning to buy this phone.. i will make this as short and as informative as possible..
Nice phone, with good design, lighter than its father (6500 slide) and offers good quality of music especially when in headphones, that's why it's an XpressMusic phone. Its built-in loudspeaker is not that great by the way. It has an anti scratch screen protector, but it will be hungry for thumb marks so you need to clean it always.
Since it is only an S40 5th edition phone, it has limited applications only. Some bug fixes were made and camera fixes were done in the 8.30 firmware making it better (depending on region). It has a decent 3.2 mp camera for its lineup which is far more better than 1st generation N-Series phones. Even if its camera is not a Carl Zeiss, image quality is almost the same w/ a pair of LED Flash.
Messaging is great where they combine the text, Multimedia, and Email at the same time. Music Player is also great, but then the bad thing is you cant search songs while in the music player which is a major downside.
Slider key transition from menu to radio to music player really looks cool. But sadly, that is all it can do, I hope it can be used in browsing such as in viewing pictures in gallery. It has a good battery life, and free 1GB microSD upon purchase expandable up to 4GB.
It is also 3G capable, and since its just a S40 phone, it lacks wi-fi and HSPDA. It has two browsers, the nokia web browser, and a free mini opera browser. It has also have a Yahoo Go! Application.
CONCLUSION
All i can say is that Nokia 5610 XpressMusic phone is a great phone. Especially for its lineup, and it is close to perfection for those who are Music lovers. Well, I think there is no Perfect Phone, and if you want a Music Phone that is also a smartphone, wait for the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone.
