GPS

Opinion:
Does anyone know whether if this is Assisted GPS or just conventional GPS? I can't get my Mapking working recently. I had never tried it since I purchased in 2006. Is it due to expiry or something is wrong with the phone? Do I need to connect to GPRS to activate or for proper installation of Mapking?
Troublesome huh?...

Hi There,
My phone came with hidden GPS settings. What you have to do is as follows.
1) visit www.phm.lu...
2) dowload phm registry and install in your mobile.
3) run program, and go to registry item; hkey local machine \contol panel \ gps settings \ hide and change it to "0".
4) soft reset your ipaq.
5) go to start -> settings -> system. there you'll find GPS option. my one works with programs: com2, hardware: com7, baud rate: 57600, access: checked!
it worked on mine, and i could use programs like google maps and smart2go. do it at your own risk.
