User Review for Samsung SGH-i550W
One of the Best Symbian Device
Mar 31, 2008Rating: 10 out of 10 (Perfect)
Pros: WiFi, 3.5G, GPS, good LCD screen, responsive navigation trackball, 3.5mm earphone supported
Cons: no desktop charger, lack of edit function in QuickOffice (need too buy the license)
Opinion:
Did not expect such a sophisticated and functions-pack device from Samsung. Best of all, it is running on S60 since I have been using the N-series phone over the last 3 years :-)
Thought I will give-away this phone after 2 days, but think I will keep this phone for long now. It is very intuitive (no problem for me to adjust to it.
What I like most is it GPS function; without even need to pay for the Full-License navigation software and maps (check in Agis and it costs more than US$150)! Being a 1st time user of GPS, I am really happy that I am able to setup everything in minutes by following the reference guide provided. Has been using the navigator since and find that it is pretty good solutions. esp like the voice navigation since I cannot been looking at the screen when driving! Will be wonderful if there is Hokkien language supported; for my father to try:-)
