User Review for Samsung Ultra Edition 8.4
Excellent slim phone
Mar 26, 2008Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Slim, Durable, Essential features
Cons: Weak battery life
Opinion:
I've owned this phone for almost a year now and have no real complaints except for the fact that the battery life leaves much to be desired. I use it minimally, yet I have to charge it every 2 days on average.
With that being said, it's a great phone, everything that I could ask for. It's a good size, and I love the fact that it's so slim. Fits into a guy's pants pocket really easily. Buttons are of a great size and spaced apart well. These are important features for me as I don't really care about Wifi, HSDPA, etc etc in my phone. As long as it can make calls, and it's easy to message, that's all that matters to me. The fact that this slim phone has Bluetooth (a must have feature nowadays in any phone) also works to its advantage as most users have a Bluetooth headset nowadays.
The interface is straightforward, not hard to navigate through at all. Camera is average, but I don't buy a phone for it's camera capabilities. That's what my Nikon and Fuji cameras are for.
All in all, a great phone if you're looking for something that's slim, has bluetooth, and is ergonomically designed. Anything more, go get a computer.
